Sharon Griggs, MBA, BCC

Executive Coach & Leadership Consultant

Sharon led teams and mentored individual leaders to success throughout her 16-year career in general management, international business development, strategic planning, and marketing at AirTouch Communications and Verizon Wireless.  Her international responsibilities allowed her to lead multi-corporate, and multi-national teams across Europe at the time when the European Union first mandated competition in the wireless telecoms marketplace. As a general manager in the domestic market, she planned and led the successful turnarounds of two major operating units for which she had full P&L responsibility.

After her successful career in large corporations, she opened her executive coaching practice where she now applies her broad business and coaching expertise to assist others who are ready to take their performance to the next level by challenging their limiting beliefs, modifying their behaviors, and developing new and better business practices.  Sharon serves organizations ranging in size from start-ups to Fortune 500's, both for-profit and not-for-profit.

Sharon's coaching work focuses on business leaders whose career depend on their ability to deliver results by working with and through others. In addition to one-on-one coaching,  she offers both team coaching and consulting that accelerates the achievement of organizational business goals together with improved customer satisfaction, employee engagement, and financial results.

In addition to her coaching practice, Sharon  is a faculty member of the Global Institute for Leadership Development, and she teaches management development classes offered to the local community by the Harvard Business School Club of San Diego.

She is currently authoring a book that is a practical guide for managers who want to coach their team members.
